Lighting Ways to Brighter Days

Optimism - Dear Heavenly Father,  thank you for your love.  Please help me today to operate in positive thoughts and actions.  Help me to remain optimistic about the future and to realize that you are good, and you have good things planned for me and my loved ones.  As I go about my daily life, it is easy to become distracted and to focus on what is NOT going right for me.  Please help me to replace negative thoughts that might creep in, with the positive, optimistic thoughts of your love, care, and grace.   In your name I pray.  Amen.

Sowing - Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your love, kindness and grace.  I come to you, right now, to ask you to bless me in the seeds that I am sowing in my life and in the lives of those who are near me each day.  Please help me to sow seeds of goodness, kindness, patience and love.  Help me to sow GOOD seeds that will bring a good harvest.  You tell us in your word, Father, that there is a time for sowing and a time for harvesting.  Please help me to sow that which is good and productive, so that when the time is right, I will reap a bountiful harvest, and please let me reap plentiful harvests in my health, my finances, my marriage, my job and the lives of my children.  Thank you for the bountiful harvests that I can reap from sowing good seeds.  In your name I pray.  Amen.

Comfort - Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and thank you for the grace you show me each day.  Father, I pray this prayer for comfort in all of the difficult events and situations that we encounter each day.  Lately, Father, it seems that there is a new, catastrophe every day, that causes hurt, harm, and damage to so many lives.  I pray, dear Father, that you will protect us from evil that try to harm us, and that you will give us comfort and peace in our hearts and minds.  Please give us comfort, in our spirits, so that we can deal with the unfortunate events that try to damage us and rob us of our peace and joy.  Thank you that you are the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles.  In your name I pray.  Amen.
